Skills and Support for Living Well with Bipolar Disorder:
A Therapy Group
Are you looking for support to better navigate living with bipolar disorder? Join us for an ongoing, weekly therapy group to help you optimize your mood, functioning and quality of life!
WHAT? You will learn skills from research-based therapies, including psychoeducation, cognitive behavior therapy (CBT) and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT). Each month we will emphasize one set of skills, such as:
· behavioral strategies (e.g., opposite-emotion action; values clarification)
· mindfulness & cognitive defusion
· cognitive restructuring
· acceptance and willingness strategies
· sleep strategies
You and your fellow group members will support each other in using these skills in your everyday life. Each group session will include presentation/review of a skill and time for sharing and support.
WHO? 5-8 adults who have the shared experience of living with a bipolar disorder (bipolar I, bipolar II, cyclothymia, or bipolar disorder not elsewhere classified).
WHEN? Thursdays 10:30-11:50am MT
WHERE? Any private location with high-speed internet for video conferencing
COST? $75 per session per member, pre-paid monthly

Complete this paperwork:
Complete a screening interview with one of the group leaders. In this (virtual) appointment we will determine your eligibility for group and we’ll decide together if there is a good fit between your goals and the group structure and content. We'll also review the paperwork that you’ll complete ahead of time. Screening sessions are typically 25-50 minuets in duration, and are billed at $200/50-minutes, pro-rated.

About the Therapists: The primary group therapist is Alisha Brosse, PhD (with Monika Hauser, PhD sometimes covering). Drs. Brosse and Hauser have a combined 27 years of experience working at a bipolar speciality clinic. BCCBT trainee therapists will serve as co-facilitators.
