Amelia is a doctoral student studying Clinical Psychology and Neuroscience at the University of Colorado Boulder. She received her bachelor’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Tufts University in 2018, before spending two years as a clinical research coordinator at McLean Hospital. She then began her PhD at the University of Colorado Boulder in 2020, receiving her master’s degree in 2023. She has pursued training in a range of evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and a variety of exposure-based therapies. She is also currently receiving specialized training in CBT for Insomnia (CBTi) and treatments for bipolar disorder.
Amelia prioritizes fostering strong relationships with her clients and is passionate about identifying skills or practices to help clients move toward their values and have a higher quality of life. Her hobbies include reading, cooking, yoga, and playing with her Australian cattle dog mix.
