Bennett Leslie, PsyD

Dr. Bennett Leslie is a Licensed Psychologist with over 25 years of clinical experience in a variety of health care settings. He is committed to using empirically based therapies that are tailored to an individual’s or a couple’s goals. In addition to his private practice in Denver and Boulder, Dr. Leslie was the Clinical Psychologist at the Center for Integrative Medicine at the University of Colorado Hospital from 2002 to 2010. He has served as an assistant clinical professor in the schools of Medicine and Psychiatry at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. His clinical focus is on using cognitive and behavioral therapies to help people with a wide variety of challenges including adaptation to medical disease, relationship issues, couples therapy, depression, anxiety, work/life balance, and a desire to focus on wellness. He taught physician-patient communication in the Foundations of Doctoring program at the University of Colorado medical school and is a faculty member and trainer for the Institute for HealthCare Communication. Currently, he leads workshops on professional ethics and advanced healthcare communication skills. In 2009, Dr. Leslie was appointed to the Colorado State Board of Psychologist Examiners for a four year term and reappointed in 2012. He served as Chair of the Board from 2014 through 2016.
