Leisha Chiles, Psy.D.

Leisha Chiles, PsyD is a Psychologist Candidate in the state of Colorado.  She provides individual psychotherapy for her clients under the supervision of BCCBT Psychologist partners.  Leisha operates from an integrative approach that is trauma-informed and rooted in interpersonal process and cognitive behavioral therapies as she collaborates with clients to address their concerns, meet their goals, and enhance their quality of life. She is passionate about suicide prevention, diversity and multicultural counseling, and promoting social justice.  Her clinical focus has included the treatment of depression, severe mood disorders, anxiety, ADHD, physical illness and adjustment to health-related concerns, trauma, suicide prevention, experiences of racism and oppression/discrimination, gender identity and sexual orientation, relationship concerns, grief and loss, and general life adjustment.  Leisha completed a BA in Clinical Psychology with a minor focus in Women’s, Gender and Sexuality Studies (WGS) at The Ohio State University. She received her master’s and doctoral degrees in Clinical Psychology from the University of Denver (DU).  Leisha completed her pre-doctoral internship at the DU Health and Counseling Center where she provided individual and group psychotherapy, and psychological testing in an integrated medical setting.
