Lauren Landy, Ph.D.

Lauren Landy, Ph.D. is a Psychologist Candidate for Licensure who provides individual therapy for her clients under the supervision of BCCBT Psychologist partners. She uses a variety of evidence-based approaches, specifically cognitive behavioral therapies including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). She specializes in adults struggling with a range of difficulties, particularly mood disorders (depression, bipolar), anxiety disorders (social anxiety, panic, OCD, generalized anxiety & worry, phobias, trauma), mental health concerns during pregnancy and postpartum, insomnia, and stress & adjustment. She takes a flexible approach, adapting to clients’ individual needs, preferences and goals. She received her Ph.D. from the University of Colorado in 2017. Lauren completed her one-year pre-doctoral internship at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine where she worked in a variety of outpatient, inpatient, and residential treatment settings. She received her Master’s degree from the University of Colorado Boulder in 2013 and her Bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2011.
