Monika Hauser, Ph.D., Partner

Dr. Hauser is a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in cognitive behavioral therapies for a wide variety of difficulties, including, but not limited to mood and anxiety disorders and chronic pain. While she lived in Germany, she completed her studies in psychology at the University of Potsdam, and received her Diploma of Psychology in 2000. During that time, she worked as a research assistant at the Max-Planck-Institute for Human Development in Berlin, Germany. After moving to the US, she started the graduate program in clinical psychology at the University of Colorado at Boulder, where she received her doctorate in 2006. After the completion of a one-year pre-doctoral internship at the SUNY Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse, NY, she returned to Boulder and established her private practice. Since her return, she has also been employed at the University of Colorado at Boulder where she currently works at the Robert D. Sutherland Center for the Evaluation and Treatment of Bipolar Disorder , and for the Colorado Family Project. Dr. Hauser has been trained in Mindfulness-Based-Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), and regularly integrates mindfulness and acceptance based strategies in individual therapy.
